🚠 KOBE Guide: Rokko Cable Sanjo Station — A Gateway Between Clouds and Memories

🌲 Overview
Standing at an altitude of 737 meters, Rokko Cable Sanjo Station is more than just a transportation hub; it is a historic monument that has greeted visitors since 1932.
This Art Deco masterpiece serves as the symbolic entrance to the "Architecture of Silence" found atop Mount Rokko.
🏛️ Architecture of the Past
The station building, captured in the photo, retains its original charm with clean geometric lines and vintage typography.
As you step off the cable car, the air changes—it carries the quiet, earthy scent of the mountains.
This specific scent and atmosphere are the very starting points of my creative process.
You can read more about my philosophy in "Why I Build Kobe as a Memory, Not a Replica".
☁️ Finding the Quiet Rhythm
From the rooftop observatory, you can look down upon the vast cityscape of Kobe and Osaka.
For me, this station represents the transition from the "lively streets" to the "quiet rhythm" of the heights.
Every time I visit, the balance between this solid, historic structure and the shifting mountain mist inspires the blocks I place in the metaverse.
